My 31st birthday is coming up next weekend…
and so I picked up a couple of little souvenirs:
A wire magazine rack/log holder that I’ll be spray-panting gold and setting next to our Eames-style rocker (yes, there are probably more practical things to carry home from another country, but $1.99 for a little midcentury decor action is not something that I sneeze at)…
And a floaty pink dress (twenty bucks at the Canadian equivalent of TJ Maxx) to wear next Saturday to do whatever it is that we end up doing, and then again to Stephen and Dave’s wedding at the summer’s end.
