You may remember that last fall I did a “Holiday Fashion Preview” video over at TJ Maxx? Well, they asked me to make another one, so this morning I stopped by the new store on 100th and Columbus, gift cards in hand, and went to town. I freaking LOVE spring shopping. Except for my pale legs. Those, I could do without seeing under fluorescent lights.
Anyway, here’s a quick preview of some of my favorite finds:
This is pretty much what I wear all summer long – a little white top (preferably with embroidery, and preferably for $7.99, like the one pictured here) and short shorts. I didn’t buy the vest, but am regretting it – it’s a nice spring transition piece. Also, I know it’s not a great shot of the straw bag, but it has gold hardware detailing, and who can resist that? Not I!
L-O-V-E those shoes, and love the price point (under $50).
I think this outfit – beyond being really comfortable – would make a great summer look if you work in a more casual office setting. Also, I can’t even begin to talk about how much I want that bag (alas, even though it’s 50% off the original price, that still makes it $2,000 – eek!).
