1. The nailpolish Kristen was wearing at yesterday’s Reinvention Convention. She can’t remember its name, but it’s a pale grey Essie shade, and I see my next pedicure on the horizon. Anyone…?
2. Votre Vu’s Duette (a gorgeous hand cream with lip balm in the lid), which I have kept on my nightstand ever since I discovered it last fall at the Girls’ Night Out event. Last night I applied the hand cream, and Kendrick sat straight up in bed and said “What is THAT? You smell like COOKIES. That is AMAZING.” (He actually did say this.) This product just makes such sense, combining both of the things that I apply constantly in one delicious-smelling (but, FYI, not too sweet) package.
3. This, obviously. It’s a Williams-Sonoma Cooks Herb Wreath, it’s $49, and it’s just the perfect gift for anyone with even the vaguest culinary leanings (or interest in having a prettily-scented kitchen). Apparently you can leave it up all year ’round, as the herbs (that would be rosemary, sage, bay leaves, and purple oregano that I wish was lavender instead) dry naturally and aren’t secured with any type of glue, so they can be used for cooking. Also worth checking out: the Lavender Wreath (gasp; love it for a country-style bedroom), the Farmer’s Market Herb Wreath (gorgeous), and the Bay Leaf Wreath (classic).
