I get a lot of questions about which camera I use. The answer is the Canon T4i, because it’s kindergartener-level easy and I am a lazy, lazy photographer, and also because it has excellent video capabilities. But apparently the answer should be “the one that my dad has.” It’s a silly-fancy DSLR, and we spent yesterday afternoon playing with its rapid-shoot function, and…
oh.
#upgrade.
I think these photos are so. freaking. cool. And kind of – dare I say it? – Herb Ritts-y. (I can say this because I didn’t take them.)
(There is also one in which I am making the most ridiculous cheeseball whee-I-am-jumping-into-a-pool face you have ever seen, but I’m too embarrassed to post it here, so over on Facebook it goes.)
Buying – or perhaps borrowing – one ASAP.
P.S. This is pretty obviously not the bathing suit I was talking about when I said I brought “sensible” suits to Florida – this is one that was twenty bucks and came in a tiny plastic bag like a candy bar rather than an actual item of clothing. I picked it up at a souvenir shop yesterday afternoon when I realized that my stomach was still baby-butt white and that I needed to remedy that ASAP.
