I buy Christmas gifts all year 'round (literally, starting in January), because if I don't I get completely overwhelmed and crazy and very un-celebratory-like once the holidays officially arrive.

Not gonna lie: Father's Day is a tough one. Dads - at least my dad, anyway - are historically reluctant to tell you what they like (unlike, say, mothers, who will happily provide itemized lists and links to appropriate purchasing outlets). Dads With Hobbies are a bit easier, but sometimes you need to step outside the golf ball box.

A. This is a really fun age, because babies are just starting to actually engage in the world around them. My son is particularly into toys with flashing lights, bright colors, music, the whole nine yards...but also, you know, freaks out over his feet, so I think it doesn't take much to please them right now.
Count Me Healthy Bracelet (starting at $88): This is a pretty neat twist on jewelry, especially for a new mom or someone who's into setting health goals for themselves: you slide the little beads on the bracelet from one side to another over the course of the day to track your progress towards a goal (every time you, say, drink a glass of water).
Fossil Stella Mini Watch ($115): Who wouldn't love a rose gold watch in a classic shape? And this one is (well, relatively; it's still a watch) affordable.
bamboopink Rio Coral Hoops ($34): I actually just gave my own mother a pair of these - their striking color and beautiful details make them gorgeous for both everyday and special occasions.
When you're headed over to see a couple of friends who just brought a brand-new person into the world, it's nice to tote along a small gift, no?
