Fall Style Staples And Fire Pits

I love eBay. Mostly because I love how completely random (and yet, I think, completely amazing) my purchases tend to be.

In the past month, as an example, I have bid on (and won) the following items:

–       A wholesale lot of icicle lights to hang around our house this Christmas;

–       A 1970s record player and assorted old-school records;

–       A fire pit.

I completely forgot that I won that last auction until a fire pit actually showed up on our doorstep. Explaining that one to Kendrick was fun. (Personally, I don’t think any explanation is necessary. It is a fire pit. Obviously I bought it.)

And while eBay is of course fantastic for home spruce-ups, their revamped fashion site is seriously a must-see if you haven’t visited it in awhile: it’s so much more user-friendly and easy to search, with curated collections, sales events, and style inspiration from industry leaders. You can still find those one-of-a-kind treasures…but you can also find the stuff you really need (and for way less than you’d pay elsewhere).

Above, some of my top eBay picks for this fall, from the perfect pair of skinny grey jeans to a watch with a classic, retro feel to a business card holder so cute that it might actually inspire me to remember to bring my business cards with me when I leave the house.

Clockwise from top left: Old Navy “The Rockstar” Jeans; Knitted Batwing Sweater; Alexander Wang Karmaloop Sunglasses; Leopard Skin Credit Card Holder; Chloe Tan Calfskin Leather Large Paraty Bag; Timex Ladies’ Gold-Tone Watch; Alexander McQueen Skull Bracelet.
