Strawberry-Infused Tequila

On Monday afternoon, Kendrick took me to the restaurant where he used to bartend, Lobo, for one of their famous margaritas (apparently they were voted Best in Brooklyn). On the bartender’s recommendation, I tried the margarita made with strawberry-infused tequila…and yep. Extremely worthy of praise.

I love making fruit infusions (they make excellent DIY gifts), and strawberry-infused tequila is a simple, delicious way to use up the last of the summer’s strawberries: just slice up a couple of handfuls of berries, place in a Mason jar with good-quality tequila, cover, and let sit in a cool spot for a couple of weeks, shaking the jar occasionally.
