Alright, I'm not gonna lie: this isn't my favorite outfit in the world.
The pants? Favorite. I bought them in Colorado and have barely taken them off since; they're just the most comfortable things in the world.
And I love them with the teal blouse and the matching shoes, but the navy sweater just...eh. It sort of dulls down the whole look.
But you know what? Sometimes one is cold, and so one puts on a navy sweater that doesn't quite match because that's just how life goes. And yeah, this sweater is a good eight years old and has seen better days, but I have so many fond memories of it that I wanted to wear it one more time before it gets too warm.
I'm headed to Colorado for the week with Better TV, filming a bunch of segments on fall/holiday fashion (yes, already). This trip has presented a bit of a packing conundrum, because it's apparently going to fluctuate between sixty degrees and a blizzard during the five days that I'll be there. Oh yes, and I'm bringing wardrobe for five different segments, plus a couple of additional segments that we may or may not film...but at this point aren't exactly certain what said segments might entail.
Which makes them difficult to pack for.
Basically, I'm bringing All The Things.
But here's what I'm bringing in my carry-on (that's an Isabella Fiore satchel).
Our living room has been a work in progress since the day we moved in.
To me, having a well-organized kitchen is a major essential. And by "well-organized" I don't mean "perfect"...I mean "rational."
Fresh, Spring-evoking scents for every room in your home.
Q. Hi Jordan,
This question seems to fit your "former" life perfectly. My husband and I are in our late twenties and live in the upper west side with our dog. We JUST realized that we have the day off this Monday, and we've made no plans. Do you have any ideas for trips or day trips that would work - without a car, and possibly with a dog in tow?
-Katherine
A. Oh, yes. Kendrick and I are professional day-trippers; when we were living in the city I knew that moving out to the 'burbs would be a good idea for us mostly because every chance we got found us hopping a train, headed in the direction of a small town with cute restaurants and good antiquing.
My Sleep Kit these days...
I spent yesterday running all over the city to meetings and events, and needed a look that would work from morning to evening, but still be respectably comfortable and practical.
Here are the things you’ll always find on or in my bedside table.
