Our favorite cleanse at Robert Verdi’s fashion week suite. Yum.
And that would be MY favorite cleanse in the background!
Kidding, kidding…sorta :)

An exciting Friday night: Kendrick and I watched Four Weddings & A Funeral, ordered Thai, and played with the VANS customization site (I scored a coupon for a free pair at the Robert Verdi event and handed it over to Kendrick). These are two of the pairs I designed for him (we haven’t ordered yet). I kind of love them…especially the ones on the left. Thoughts?

My Fashion Week Day 2 look: poofy hair, Gap cardigan, an XL Liz Lange Maternity for Target blouse worn as a dress (yep), oversize cream-and-gold scarf (a gift from Francesca).
On Friday’s agenda: the Gilded Age show and Robert Verdi’s The Future of Fashion party at Luxe Lounge. FUN.
(BTW, lately I am absolutely obsessed with NARS lip gloss in Turkish Delight; I was doing the dark lips thing for awhile, but I think that kohl-rimmed eyes with light eyeshadow and ’60s-style pale lips are perfect for spring.)
Yesterday, I was invited to a Marshalls/TJ Maxx event to check out some new spring fashions. OK, I know I write about them a lot, but oh my god, do I love these stores. When I first started at NonSociety, I attended a Marshalls/TJ Maxx event hosted by Robert Verdi at which I was given a gift card to each store. I’d never been before, because I thought it was sort of like Strawberry…not realizing that they have incredible deals on designer clothing just like you’d find at an upscale department store (and when I say incredible, I mean that I found my mom a black sequined top worth nearly $400 for $39.99). But I figured I’d give the places a shot, being as I am not one to waste perfectly good gift cards.
I am now a total convert. (I kinda prefer TJ Maxx over Marshalls, but I think that’s because the Marshalls I’ve been to - the one on West 125th Street - isn’t the prettiest, and the new TJ Maxx store on 100th and Columbus is spectacular).
Above, I’m checking out some gorgeous flats that I very much want to be wearing this spring.
Gap sweatshirt (yeahh…I bought another one), Item necklace, Kooba bag.
My first stop at the trade show (at Javitz Center Feb 20-22): the Obvious Clothing booth (to say hi to Francesca). You know how I have a bit of a thing for visible bras? Well, I just about died over this one (pictured above with an off-the-shoulder Obvious top).
Persian blue was all over the place at Coterie. I especially loved this piece from Sky, which would be adorable as a day-to-night bathing suit cover-up.
So in my personal opinion, the three best pizza places in the world are Grimaldi's, Pepe's (in New Haven), and John's Pizzeria (pictured above), our Saturday lunch pick.
These are called Koolaburras, and they are expensive...but they're also amazing. No?
Wednesday began at the gorgeous, gorgeous Whole Foods up on 97th and Columbus. It was tough not to shop while we shot...
