Saturday evening started with a meander through the street fair on 8th Avenue (rarely a summer weekend passes when you won’t find me at one of these) to check out the spices and teas, and then a stop by Liz’s for some BBQ with the girls (above, I’m with Vanessa and Liz).

Later in the evening, Kendrick and I met up with Michael, Nadine, and Jerry at the birthday party of a person whom I did not know, but who very graciously invited my husband and I to join the festivities. (I don’t know what I’m doing in this picture…I’d guess dancing?) We ended up playing Big Buck Hunter (which I am very, very, VERY bad at) and taking over the photo booth at Mason Dixon.
Michael Malice and Kendrick got along just famously.
