Some Romantic Florals-wearing Do’s and Don’ts…
Do:
– Give the look some edge by mixing in an unquestionably un-girly piece, like a rugged army jacket or a distressed denim vest.
– Try pairing a single bright, floral piece with an otherwise neutral outfit (for example, a floral jacket with a grey tee and jeans, or flowery pants with a navy top).
– Keep things simple with flats or motorcycle boots.
Don’t:
– Go overboard with the glam hair and makeup; when super-feminine pieces are on the menu, a slightly more simple, relaxed approach to beauty works better than French twists and false lashes.
– Go all-out Elle Woods (unless that’s your thing, in which case: fun!); rather than pearls, try mixing in rough-and-tumble accessories like a ’60s-inspired brown leather bag, animal print shoes, or even spikes and skulls (why not?).
