Owning for-real umbrellas (not just the $5 ones you buy from a dude on the street when it starts drizzling)…
keeping them in a pretty stand by the door…
and actually managing to hold onto them for more than one trip outside.
I’m 2 for 3 in this regard: I own a nice stand, and I tend not to lose them (mostly)…but the prettiest umbrella I have is a red-and-white ProItalia-branded one I picked up in California while helping out with a Ducati event.
Which isn’t so pretty.
