On the way to Ogunquit, we generally try to swing by Cambridge so I can do things like buy the t-shirts I never bought while I was actually going to school there and eat ice cream at Lizzy’s.
I wish a photograph could do this (chocolate + sliced banana + marshmallow) justice.
Apparently when you feed chocolate ice cream and marshmallows to toddlers, they get a little bit of an energy burst.
So we ran around Harvard Yard for awhile.
Played hide-and-go-seek.
Climbed the steps at Widener Library.
Next stop: Ogunquit.
(This is the road leading to Clay Hill Farm, where we got married.)
First stop: always a lobster roll at Barnacle Billy’s. I’ve been going there for about two decades now – my very first boyfriend was a waiter there – and honestly: it’s my favorite restaurant in the world.
So it was pretty cool introducing my son to the place (and to the ducks).
