It’s Kendrick’s birthday next week, so we decided to spend tonight recapturing our youth at that pillar of my high school education, Dorrian’s, with a couple of our buddies.
I thought I’d pay tribute to bygone days by donning this sort of ridiculous-looking outfit: my much-loved Old Navy button-down paired with a Necessary Objects pleated miniskirt that I originally purchased as part of my senior-year sexy-schoolgirl (yeah, yeah) Halloween costume. It’s wrinkled because it’s been hanging out in the back of my closet pretty much ever since. And I can’t find my iron.
