New Moon Creations Nature’s Power Pendants

I think Trudy (pictured above with me – and my latest knitting project) was a little nervous about doing a reading for me this go ’round. It’s kind of obvious what’s on my mind and what kind of concerns I’m dealing with these days, so if, you know, the Disaster and Destruction card came up over and over again, I’d probably get a little titchy. The truth, of course, is that tarot doesn’t actually work that way – each card is influenced by whatever’s around it, so even if you pull a picture of Death coming at you with blades at the ready, it could mean, for example, the end to a problematic relationship…but I still don’t want to see a picture of Death coming at me with blades at the ready. I’m fussy like that.

But as it turned out, the reading that she did the other night was quite positive, and made a ton of logistical sense. It basically said that I was coming up on a challenging period in my life during which I’d be completely overwhelmed with work (noooo), and that I’d struggle to figure out how to achieve balance, but that the end result would be family happiness and peace.

Interestingly, the overall reading was more about career-work than about family-work, and that makes sense: I know that the baby will be a (delicious) challenge…but it’s a challenge that I look forward to. What I’m getting more nervous about lately is how to keep everything going work-wise in the first few months after his arrival, because as a freelancer I don’t exactly get paid for my time off, so the plan is to not take very much time away at all…and that sounds kinda rough: just figuring out how to do all the things I usually do plus all the new stuff I’ll be doing. And even though the topics on RG are heavily influenced by whatever’s going on in my life, I’ll need to find a way (and I will find a way, I promise) to ensure that I don’t start rambling on about diapers and pacifiers 24/7 just because my own days are overrun with such things.

So that’s what’s comin’. It’ll be challenging…but such is life, and such are changes.

But back to the main point of this post, which is that we want to give one of you, my dear readers, a New Moon Creations Nature’s Power Pendant. Above is the stone that Trudy recommended that I wear in order to cultivate a little tranquility in my life (that would be jade), but check out the full line here, and to enter just comment below telling me what necklace you’d like to win (you can also select a Sweetgrass, Buffalo Sage, or 7 Colors pendant, if those are more to your liking).

And P.S., I know that a bunch of you have contacted Trudy for readings – that’s so fantastic! Let me know how they go??
