Yesterday I had a late lunch with Carla, a talented actress and a smart, genuine, and driven young lady who’s going to be helping me out with some upcoming shoots, events, etc. We sat outside (brr – que pasa, sun?) at JG Melon’s, where the burgers (which we ordered with a side of cottage fries and a side of mayonnaise) were absolutely as good as they say. If I’m unsure about the quality of a restaurant’s burgers, I’ll order medium (never medium-well or well-done…ahem, Mom), but at a place that knows their way around ground beef, medium-rare is the way to go. I had some charming onion breath for my subway trip downtown to meet up with Justine from SimplyChic PR, but oh, was it worth it.
