I discovered a few exciting things on my trip to Florida.
The fact that I can wear a string bikini for the first time ever, because apparently having babies not only changes your hair and your skin and, you know, your life, but also changes…well, this situation.
The fact that said string bikinis sometimes come in tiny plastic bags like Yodels, and that this has very little bearing on how cute they are, because it’s kind of hard to screw up four inches of fabric.
The fact that the cuffs that I’ve been wearing in pretty much every photo for the past few weeks and had thought were vintage – because I found them in a little antique store in Nyack – are actually from an extremely fancy designer (I discovered this when I googled “coral cuff” and a photo of my “vintage” cuffs popped up). Cool.
The joy of jumping into a pool while pretending to be a ballerina or perhaps a lunatic.
And a weird little beachwear line called Umgee (which is a kind of great name, no?) that is more or less Forever 21 quality, but is very pretty and fringe-y and perfect for slouching around in the sand.
Oh, and key lime muffins (yarrr).
On Me: Umgee Tank (worn as dress); Island Girl Bikini; Voyage Necklace ℅ LAGOS; Devon Leigh Cuff Bracelets; Kelly Wearstler Koa Ring; Swarovski Earrings; RayBan Aviators.
