Very excited to show you the Ramshackle Glam cover art (by Paperfashion’s Katie Rodgers, with a logo design by Naava Katz)! The book is available for pre-order on Amazon right now, and officially comes out March 25.
Speaking of books, I’m now on Goodreads; if you’re a member I’d love to connect so I can follow along with your book recommendations.
Also on the topic of books: reading The Interestings, which was overwhelmingly recommended to me in this post. So far, so good. It’s a nice change from my post-apocalyptic choices as of late: I just finished Book One of the Divergent series and World War Z (good, but the movie was better).
The world’s most decadent hangover cure sounds pretty amazing.
Here’s a segment that Kendrick and I shot on (suuuuper) easy ways to update your table for the holidays, in case you’ve got some entertaining to do this weekend (or extra seed pods laying around).
Cambridge Satchel Co. is making a limited-edition leopard bag. This is good news.
Speaking of leopard: I don’t skateboard, but if I did I would skateboard on this.
This “sleepunder” phenomenon (where kids don’t actually sleepover at sleepovers, but rather do all the sleepover-type stuff, including getting into PJs, before getting picked up by their parents and going home to bed) sounds like such a bummer.
I just discovered that clawfoot tubs come in a vintage-y looking 54″ length. This is a very exciting discovery, because baths are my favorite thing in the world and this means that it might actually be possible to fit one into our upstairs bathroom.
I also just discovered that our upstairs shower is (still) leaking into our living room (I discovered this when I went to walk across the room and went flying because I stepped in a huge pool of water, oh my god). This discovery combined with the clawfoot tub discovery basically means that I’m going to go a step beyond the wallpaper-and-paint redo that I talked about earlier this week and do an actual full-on bathroom overhaul. Including white subway tiles, I think. Eeeee.
That brings me to a question for you: which do you prefer paired with white subway tiles: a simple pale grey paint, or that amazing white-and-grey glittery Deco wallpaper I posted?
If you’re looking for a super-last-minute gift, I think this Anthropologie wishbone stamp ($28) is kind of awesome.
I am wearing this right now. It’s embarrassing and also great.
