Kendrick and I headed down to Florida to visit our friends Eddie and Sharyn, who own the wildest (seriously, the wildest) lake house you’ve ever seen.
While there, we saw the most amazing Christmas decorations ever (pictured above), drove around in vintage convertibles, got rhapsodic over boiled peanuts, fried alligator, and jumbo turkey legs (below), fell in love with The Freezer, paddle-boated, ate okra, and learned how to make beer-can chicken (which we first injected) and glitter streams.
It’s still up there among my favorite vacations ever.
