For awhile now, Francesca’s been telling me about this amazing Tuscan restaurant on Christopher and Bleecker that she’s been going to for lunch called Il Cantuccio (above, she’s with one of the owners, Camilla). And yep: AMAZING.

I mean.
While our prosciutto, mozzarella, basil and tomato sandwiches were nothing short of spectacular (house-made bread, etc), that is a NUTELLA CROISSANT. (I split it with Francesca. Reluctantly.)
Aww.
Really, the last two meals we’ve eaten together – first Marlow & Sons, and now Il Cantuccio – are up there in some of the best lunches I’ve had.
