I really enjoy using for-real cloth products on my table when I’m entertaining, but as I don’t have a washer-dryer in my apartment (or apartment building, sigh) and I have a tendency to put things like red wine and pasta sauce everywhere except for the places that they should go when I’m trying to serve people, I am sometimes vexed by my desire to step up the fancy.
Enter my super-cool discovery of the day: biodegradable “tear-and-use” cotton napkins from MyDrap ($29 for a roll of 25 regular-sized ones). The company also has tear-and-use placemats, coasters, table runners, and various other incredibly useful things.
