The very first tomato to sprout from our garden was on the tiny side, but still: it seemed like I should probably eat it immediately rather than wait for the rest of the team to catch up.
Balsamic, Maldon sea salt, done.
Sure, the slightly overblown self-congratulation may be clouding my opinion…but honestly: I think it might have been the best tomato I’ve ever eaten.
