Crucial Information For Your Christmas

I’m going to miss this house SO much.

I was definitely one of those people who resisted getting a faux Christmas tree. I mean, isn’t the whole experience of lugging a tree home, sweeping up pine needles every day, and having a home that smells like a forest a huge part of what makes it feel like Christmas?

Except I do not enjoy lugging trees home. It is cold, and I hate having sap on my hands. I also don’t enjoy sweeping up pine needles. Even less enjoyable is what happens when my pets make it to the aforementioned pine needles before my Swiffer does, because the thing that happens immediately post-pine-needle-ingestion is extremely gross.

But the smell of a real Christmas tree? There’s nothing like it.

Fortunately, there is a way to both glory in your lazy lady decor and have your house smell exquisitely holiday-ready, and that way is…

da da da…

christmas tree candle

the Thymes Frasier Fir Candle.

Over the past four years, since we made the switch to faux, I have become something of a pine-scented candle connoisseur, and let me tell you: it does not get better than this. I discovered this scent when I was over at our friend’s place for dinner, walked into her bathroom, and found myself spinning in circles, wondering whether there was a tree hiding in the bathtub…but no. Just the candle.

It is wonderful. You have to try it.
