Happy almost-Fashion Week!
So you know how I don’t usually “do” Fashion Week (above, that’s me all pregnant and nervous about what to wear to the Vogue offices during Fashion Week last September)? Because it kind of stresses me out and I get overwhelmed by the idea of having to appear at least semi-pulled-together all day long while interacting with huge swarms of people who, by and large, I find wildly intimidating?
Well, this year I’m doing it. Really doing it, actually. The coming week is going to be pretty different for me (and for Ramshackle Glam), so I just wanted to give you a heads-up as to what’s going on.
THE RUNDOWN
1. First, I’ll be posting daily for NY Mag/Piperlime on a dedicated microsite (along with Jessica of What I Wore and Karen of Where Did U Get That), writing about everything from personal style to my favorite street sightings. The site will also be embedding my Twitter and Instagram feeds, so it’s sort of a one-stop shop for my Fashion Week comings and goings, which is fun.
2. I’ll also be working as Timex’s Roving Reporter, and will be posting on their StyleWatch page every day – my plans include writing about go-everywhere accessories and a head-to-toe video featuring some of my top of-the-moment picks.

3. More fun stuff: I’m hosting an event at Macy’s for Fashion’s Night Out (posting the invite later on today; I’d love to see you there!), and will also be shooting a behind-the-scenes video at Imitation of Christ (the same kind of thing I did at Erickson Beamon last February).
Whew. So, in sum: it’s going to be a busy – and exciting – few days.
