This is Essie Secret Stash – hands-down my #1 nail polish pick. But my bottle is almost empty, so I decided to revisit a little trick I used back in high school to up the lifetime of my favorite shades.
All you do: add another polish color (I used a lighter shade in the same color family – Sephora by OPI in Dear Diary… – because I wanted the same basic look of Secret Stash, but with a slightly paler, creamier finish) and a few drops of clear lacquer.
Once you’ve added the second color and clear lacquer, just roll the bottle between your palms to mix them all together…
And voila! A gorgeous new shade. I think I’ll call it Ramshackle Rouge. 🙂
