Oh my goodness, I had so much fun hosting the White House Black Market holiday collection party with Marie Claire last week (above, I’m with my cohosts Christine and Julie). I started by getting to catch up with old friends (including some college buddies I haven’t seen in ages), met a bunch of new ones…and then ended with Shake Shack on the Metronorth back home, and that is a fantastic night if I’ve ever heard of one.

What I wore: WHBM halter dress, velvet jacket (obsessed), crystal earrings and belt.
My hair – a different style for me, a low, loose updo with lots of volume at the top – was by Franny Berkowitz over at the John Sahag Workshop. You may remember her from my Flat-Iron Curls Tutorial; I’ve been going to her for blowouts and styles before events for years (she also does color and cuts), and she’s fantastic…in addition to being so much fun to hang out with. Thanks also to Karmela (who does my cuts at John Sahag Workshop) for coming out for the event!
