So I totally succeeded in my quest to find the Ugliest Mug In The World.
See?
(Didn’t buy it, though. Too scary.)
Other Moncton finds:
Tons and tons of carnival glass (a rundown of where to buy it online is here).
A 1950s Fire King Pale Blue Milk Glass Deviled Egg Plate ($8).
You can find these vintage egg plates everywhere (it’s the same gold-edged style as the one I picked up last time we were in Ohio), but the pale blue is much less common, so I was pretty excited about this buy.
A basket-weave, gold-accented purse.
I’ve been looking for one of these for awhile – they make such perfect summer evening bags – but they’re always a bit more expensive than I want wicker to be. This one, amazingly, was free: the gentleman running the stand said that the catch wasn’t working perfectly, and that I was welcome to have it.
And finally: ‘Roos!
I almost never wear sneakers, but for these I’ll make an exception.
