First Home Decorating!

FINALLY.

I have a tiny little fixation on Christmas lights – I would leave them up all year if I could, and when I was in college…did. And putting them up in an apartment is great, but I’ve been waiting with bated breath and palpitations and all that for the moment when I could finally hang my eBay-ed icicle lights on our front porch.

IT HAS ARRIVED.

I also hung this. Because there was a World Market right near Kendrick’s parents’ place in Ohio, and I cannot resist a World Market stop. Especially around the holidays.

The dogs are overcome with excitement.

The final touch: a vaguely creepy, garden gnome-esque Santa from TJ Maxx standing watch over the snowfall.
