I look extremely serious here.
I wasn’t, I promise; while co-hosting last night’s DKNY show at Bloomingdales I was exactly the goofball you would expect, and sort of exclaimed “Ooh! Favorite!” “No, that’s my favorite!” “Oops – favorite!” every time a new piece came down the runway.
I had a lot of favorites.
Here’s what I chose for my own outfit: an beaded black dress, an absolutely amazing asymmetric black silk vest that can also be zipped up and worn as a top, and Ebba Ankle Strap Heels in black (and my own vintage jewelry).
This vest is actually my favorite piece in the collection.
I think.
Hold on, there’s more:
This leather jacket is great: super lightweight and breathable, with an asymmetric zip front.
It seemed like pretty much everyone who attended the event went home with a pair of these in either white or black.
How cute is this? One of the gifts with purchase was a DKNY towel with on-the-spot custom embroidery.
I kind of freaked out over how much I liked the white dress on the model in the middle.
And so I tried it on.
And took a dressing-room selfie. Obviously.
