I love my fancy new custom phone case.
One little problem: I’m a professional phone-dropper, and the thing isn’t quite as protective as the bubble-wrap-style cases I usually go for…so within a week of putting it on, I had shattered the face of my phone. No fun, especially considering I just made a two-hour Apple store visit to get the battery fixed a couple of weeks ago.
Arrr.
As it turns out, though, it’s both easy and (relatively) inexpensive to get the face fixed. My dad recommended iCracked, and I have to say: two thumbs up.
They come straight to your house, pop on down at the table, and fix up your phone in about 45 minutes – for $99, which is much better than, you know…five hundred, or whatever phones cost now. And then if anything goes wrong afterwards (my phone kept overheating for some reason), they come right on back and fix it gratis.
