This beauty is easy, relatively inexpensive (about $30 all told), and capable of feeding even the hungriest couple for at least three days (a week if you're flying solo). Oh, and it's the most delicious lasagna on the planet. I mean that.

Le Pain Quotidien / Sandwich Inspiration
We broke for lunch at Le Pain Quotidien, which is without question one of my favorite lunch spots in the city. Their iced green tea is excellent, and their pastries are pretty spectacular, but nothing beats their fresh, light, and slightly offbeat sandwich options.
Some Things Just Shouldn’t Be Messed With
Sunday morning, I made a retooled version of Sharyn's Spinach Quiche for Nadine and Kendrick. It may look pretty, but...eh. I tried to make it a touch healthier by skipping the cheese and replacing the heavy cream with light cream, and I left out the fried onions because I couldn't find them in my supermarket, and all of these things were bad ideas.
