I requested a tutorial on a Boho Bride Updo - and it's easier than it looks.

Giving Essie's Bright Tights a try at the moment. Neon, hello. (Still like Vermillionaire better.)
Clay Hill Farm
Saturday night, we stopped into Clay Hill Farm, where we got married nearly three years ago. It's our first time back to the spot since then, and when we walked in they were playing our processional music (Leonard Cohen) on the piano (total coincidence; I don't actually have my entrances set to music, I swear). So you could say it was a romantic night.
Above, the grounds at Clay Hill (you can see the white chairs and gazebo set up for a Sunday afternoon wedding in the background). And you can click over to Deb Cram's site (she photographs many of the weddings at Clay Hill, including ours) for lots more shots.
Many of you have written in with questions about the experience of getting married there - please, always feel free to ask away (jordan@ramshackleglam.com) if you're looking for area/vendor suggestions or have any specific questions. The short answer, though, is that I highly recommend Clay Hill - they work with your budget, so it's not wildly expensive (especially compared to other spots in the area), it's very, very romantic, and best of all, they really know what they're doing, so once you've made all the key decisions you can just hand the reins over to them and enjoy the day.
NYC Brunch Spots w/ Unlimited Cocktails
Have a cocktail (or three) for me this weekend at one of these NYC brunch spots that offer unlimited drinks with your entree, courtesy of BrunchCritic! I like Essex - which doesn't technically offer unlimited drinks...but they never keep track - and Southern Hospitality, myself.
(Above, a recipe for one of my very favorite summer drinks, the St. Germain Cocktail.)
Have a great weekend!
