Just A Reminder…
That I do lots of additional blogging over on the RG Tumblr. It's got fascinating stuff, like this shot of my new sweater. (It has gold threads running through it. Excited about that.)
And this picture of my be-masked face (ooh, Borghese).
If poorly exposed Photobooth shots aren't up your alley, there are also hot tote bags, quotes from The Dude, and water slide photos.
I Meant To Post All Sorts Of Fun Weekend Snapshots Today…
...but in a totally unsurprising turn of events, I left my camera in Rhode Island. So they'll have to wait.
In related news, did you know that I am utterly incapable of exiting a room gracefully? At auditions, I had this habit of finishing up the scene, graciously thanking the director/producers/whoever else was there, and swanning away, feeling as though I'd made a fabulous impression, only to immediately realize that I'd forgotten my purse/coat/whatever else I'd brought in the room, and then bustling back in, face all red, probably tripping over myself and stuttering, and handily destroying any semblance of said fabulous impression in three seconds flat.
So.
J. Crew / Andy Spade Board Shorts
J. Crew has partnered up with designer Andy Spade (pictured above at the Partners & Spade studio/gallery/store, the site of Tuesday's StyleList event) to create a line of board shorts based on 1980s California coast styles, and I am quite sure that I will love them.
Why so certain, Batman? Here's the inspiration:

Stuck In The City, In Search Of Food
Sadly enough, I have no fabulous, exotic plans for this coming holiday weekend, and will be stuck in the city very glamorously babysitting my parents' cats. On Sunday, as it turns out, I'm shooting a small part in a movie, but other than that I'm wide open, and I anticipate being quite hungry at many points. So I asked my friend Andrea, founder of BrunchCritic, if she had any ideas for those of us who'll be wandering the empty streets this July 4th.
I know BrunchCritic also includes restaurants that have "lunchie" items. Are there any places that you love that have BBQ-type stuff, so I can pretend I'm at a cookout? Hamburgers, hotdogs, ribs, that kind of thing?
I'm a huge fan of Blue Smoke. It's nice to walk into a true BBQ establishment that has great food, but also an attractive interior. In Blue Smoke's case, the loft-like ceiling and exposed metal let you enjoy spicy BBQ wings in an airy, relaxing space.
