J. Crew Baby: As Adorable As You’d Imagine

I spent yesterday morning at the launch of the J.Crew Baby collection, and yes: it is absolutely as adorable as you'd imagine.

A lot of it is of the luxe-gift persuasion (think cashmere sweaters with little fox-ears on the hood), but there are also lots of more practical (and equally cute) staples: sweet footed onesies and polka-dot hats, teeny-tiny moccasins, and a black-and-white striped dress with a tutu skirt that is such a cute blend of tiny fashionista and just plain tiny that I can't stand it. (It makes me extremely grateful that I do not have a little girl, because were that the case I would be out the price of one striped dress with a tutu skirt at this very minute.)

Kristin Cavallari’s NFL Collection for Junk Food

On the menu for Tuesday afternoon: Kristin Cavallari's NFL + Junk Food show over at Style360.

What I wore for my foray into the city: a couple of Favorite New Pieces (that LOFT vest and my I.N.C. faux-leather pants) and a coral Botkier bag (which I also toted along to a meeting earlier that day with designer Monica Botkier, pictured above). In retrospect, not the best choice for 80-degrees-and-humid...but it was cloudy and rainy when I left in the morning, and I was in such a rush that I just grabbed what I saw and ran for the train.

Off To Minnesota With I.N.C.

On Saturday, I'm hosting an I.N.C. event with Camila Alves-McConaughey (click here to check out our last one, in Vegas) in Bloomington, MN at the Mall of America - if you're in the area, feel free to stop by! I'd love to meet you, and it should be a lot of fun. Also, if I do something like fall on my face or turn purple - and there's always a chance - you'll get to see the festivities first-hand.

And: I've never been in Bloomington before and should have a couple of hours to kill before my return flight, so any recommendations of places to go/things to eat are very welcome!

Date Ideas For You

Alright, so my plan was to show you three of my favorite HowAboutWe Couples Dates…but I need to post more than that, just because I think you will love them all. How HowAboutWe works: it's free to sign up and browse the curated collection of offbeat date “experiences” (all at a price significantly lower than the retail value of the date). All you do is make sure you're a member, pick your date, and off you go.

Back to those favorites I was talking about:
