I’m On A (Tequila) Boat
Yesterday was a good day. I found out that I won two tickets to a Casa Dragones tequila tasting from Tasting Table. This was awesome for two reasons: 1) free booze (always yay!) and 2) the event took place aboard The Freedom, a “beautifully restored, classic 1926 104-foot Mathis-Trumpy Fantail Motor Yacht.”
Summer Snack Idea: Figs with Goat Cheese
I met my friend Heather for lunch, but it one of those days that was so hot we could barely eat, so we decided to just split a plate of figs and goat cheese on big slices of country bread.

Apparently it was The Weekend of Pork chez us; I had some leftover arugula, mozzarella and tomatoes from Saturday night's dinner, and so loved how the combo worked with the Milanese that I decided to test out another pork recipe on Sunday.
