We broke for lunch at Le Pain Quotidien, which is without question one of my favorite lunch spots in the city. Their iced green tea is excellent, and their pastries are pretty spectacular, but nothing beats their fresh, light, and slightly offbeat sandwich options.
Try This Tuesday / Lipstick Switch
If you need to switch one bright lipstick color for another in a pinch, rub off as much of the first color as possible with a tissue, and then apply a thin coat of concealer to your lips to create a neutral starting point.
Some Things Just Shouldn’t Be Messed With
Sunday morning, I made a retooled version of Sharyn's Spinach Quiche for Nadine and Kendrick. It may look pretty, but...eh. I tried to make it a touch healthier by skipping the cheese and replacing the heavy cream with light cream, and I left out the fried onions because I couldn't find them in my supermarket, and all of these things were bad ideas.
