These pancakes are almost identical to those insane ones they served at The Griddle (albeit about a quarter of the size - those things were huge - and happily served up minus the hour-and-a-half wait on the sidewalk next to some dude in an Ed Hardy shirt and his blonde, be-sunglassed, script-wielding girlfriend).
The fact that I've been wearing baby-pinks and black-purples for years now means that I have an enormous collection of said shades sitting in my bedside table drawer, all ready to be offered up to the DIY gods...
The second the weather turns chilly, I want my apartment to smell like a walk in the woods, and I want it to smell like that all the time.
I ate these all weekend long, whenever the mood hit me. They take...maybe five minutes to make? Maybe.
This weekend is a good one to get carving, no?
