Kendrick and I (pictured above last Thanksgiving) are spending today driving from NYC to Ohio to have Thanksgiving with his family (we thought we'd skip the airports so as to avoid a repeat of last year's ordeal...and also because it ended up being cheaper), so I thought I'd leave you with a few Thanksgiving ideas to get you inspired!
1. Wake up to sound of large metal panel crashing to ground, courtesy of 2nd Avenue Subway Construction.
2. Rush through freezing apartment towards warm shower.
3. Apply shampoo to hair.
4. Discover that this morning's water temperature fluctuates between freezing and scalding.
On Saturday morning (well, a bit more on the side of noon), Kendrick told me to get dressed to go out for the day, but refused to tell me where we were headed. Three trains later, we were wandering around the Village on a perfect autumn afternoon.
when i was four years old and on vacation with my parents, i found a shivering baby bunny all alone under a bush. it was grey, and i named it thumper.
