When my husband and I found out that I was pregnant,
It was our greatest dream come true.
Reader Francine wrote in to tell me about the Vichy Aqualia Antiox Anti-Fatigue Eye Stick ($28), which sounds like heaven in a tube: "I have allergies and wake up sometimes with puffy, horrifying eyes, and this stuff totally makes me look normal a half hour after using it." I think it's a perfect product to keep in your purse or desk drawer for a little mid-afternoon pick-me-up.
My mom once suffered from shingles in her eyes - yes, her eyes...it was as horrible as it sounds - and the area still sometimes bothers her. I just sent her an email about the eye stick, so we'll see if it helps. Thanks, Francine!
Tuesday afternoon I had the pleasure of meeting Tata Harper, CEO and Woman's Health Advocate, and Keri Waxer, Founding Ambassador of Tata Harper Skincare. Tata Harper is a Vermont-based skincare and wellness company that uses 100% natural and non-toxic ingredients. Approximately 70% of the ingredients are organic, and 30% are grown in Tata's facility on Julius Kingdom Farm (in the Champlain Valley of Vermont).
I arrived at the UWS apartment with a clean face and an open mind. Keri gave me a great intro to each product and told me a bit about the history behind Tata's mission. And then - yay! - it was off to the back room for my "mini facial." While Tata (below right) gave a Style.com contributor her mini facial, Keri (below left) applied mine.
There’s something about a great cocktail that makes any time a good one (Psst, Kim: I think it has something to do with the booze).
