Q. Hi Jordan,
I’m getting married in September and for my bridesmaids’ dresses, chose this two birds dress:
One of my bridesmaids needs a very big platform wedge (she’s afraid of stepping on the dress with a stiletto heel and ripping it) and is having a hard time finding anything dressy enough. Do you have any suggestions for a wedding-appropriate wedge with a 3+ inch heel (I know the high-high shoes are your forte!)?

A. Love that dress! And congrats on your upcoming wedding.
My personal preference would be metallic wedges with a non-cork or rope bottom (too casual) and a bit of a Grecian (e.g. braided rope details) or slightly ’70s feel, to echo the dress. Nude and black also work, and may be more practical as we head into the fall months (your girlfriend can wear them with tights through October).

Have to say, though, I think a stacked heel would be even more lovely, and wouldn’t be as likely to catch as a stiletto. What about these Erin Fetherston for Juicy Coutures (they also come in gold) as alternatives?
