I’ve received a few emails/comments from readers wondering whether I’ll be blogging about my pregnancy.
Short answer: yes. Considering that I write about what I’m doing/thinking about on a daily basis, I’m not entirely certain how I’d avoid talking about something that’s shaking up my life this much. But also: I don’t want to avoid talking about it. To be honest, I wasn’t sure I was going to feel comfortable writing about my pregnancy – it’s very personal stuff, obviously – but I gave it a lot of thought, and…I do. These past three months have felt so weird to me, having such a big secret and not being as open as usual with you all. So I’ll feel it out as I go, and keep doing what I’ve always done: writing about what feels right.
That said, it’s not going to be all-babies, all-the-time around these parts (or anything even close): I’ll still be doing all the DIY, food, style, and home decor posts – business as usual.. I’ll be replacing the “Play” tab (which really was just a catch-all for things I didn’t know how to categorize, anyway) with a “Baby” tab, so those of you who are interested in pregnancy and babies-related stuff (or who aren’t) can filter by topic.
