Spotlight On: ROXoxox

My new wear-everyday, everywhere jewelry: ROXoxox’s leather and gold link bracelets (pictured above in silver and black; the rose bracelet is vintage). They’re technically lariat necklaces that pull double duty as bracelets, but my favorite way to wear them is wrapped around the wrist and stacked for the perfect mix of elegant and tough.

It’s always great to support up-and-coming independent jewelry designers, and the two women behind the line (Lisa and Lise) got their start in the most organic way possible: trapped in a kid-filled house by the rain on a summer evening, they decided to get crafty and set out to make the kinds of pieces that they themselves would want to wear.

Love this summer combo: a white tee, worn-in jeans, and a neon yellow-and-gold bracelet (with optional skull closure instead of the semiprecious gemstone pictured above).

The bracelets – along with other pieces (all made entirely by hand) – are available in limited quantities online, but you can always shoot them an email with a color request, and they’ll work with you to get you the piece you’re looking for. (Prices start around $69; men’s styles also available.)
