Meet my Fourth of July outfit:

Also known as What I Wear Almost Every Day Of My Life. White top? Check. Denim shorts? Yes. Bright bag so pretty that I want to curl up with it at night? Done.

And a touch of leopard, because what is a summer outfit without a little slice of exotic animal?

A boring one, says I!

For this post, Ramshackle Glam partnered up with Tiffany & Co. for the “What Makes Love True” campaign. Check out the other participants and find out what I think makes love true (I went for cheeseball-but-honest) over on StyleList.

The Shorts are still my favorite item in my closet, but now have to be hand-washed gently unless I want them to fall completely to pieces. Which they’re sort of doing anyway, hence the leopard patch job I installed last weekend (from the hem of an H&M maxi that is now a mini).

These shoes are on sale at Nine West right this very moment for just over $50, and they are a) delicious, and b) sturdy and relatively comfortable, thanks to the stacked heel and elastic ankle bands. And they go with everything. And transition nicely to fall. Auto-purchase.

On me: Joie sweater, True Religion jeans with DIY cutoff & patch job, Rebecca Minkoff MAC clutch, Nine West heels, Tom Ford sunglasses, necklace & earrings c/o Tiffany & Co.

Jordan, how do you hand-wash? It’s something I have no clue how to do. Perhaps this is a silly question…

    not silly!
i use either woolite or origins linen wash. Put a capful or so of soap in a sink full of cold water, add a max of three (similarly colored) items, and let them soak for a few minutes, then scrub the fabric together gently and rinse with cold water. smooth wrinkles and hang to dry.

OMG. I wanted those shoes in the style with the red and now that I see them on you, I want them even more. I figured they would be comfortable because of the heel and the thick straps, plus my feet love Nine West shoes. LOVE IT!

Please tell me your secret of being able to wear all your favorite shorts despite having a growing belly!!! I would love to wear all my favorite shorts, as my belly is the only thing that has grown during my pregnancy, but I constantly feel as if they are falling off! :)

All of the shorts I’ve continued to wear are either a) suuuuper low, so they fit snugly right under my tummy, or b) unbuttoned, and fastened with a rubber band looped through the buttonhole. i’m actually wearing a linen pair right now that feel like they’re falling off a bit since they’re riding so low – i think it helps to go for denim or cotton with a bit of stretch to the fabric. and of course wear a longer top to avoid showing skin you didn’t mean to show or rubber band assistance :)
