Top To-Dos in Ogunquit

- “Allow” your husband to beat you (not by much!) at mini golf or try your hand at Skee-Ball at Wonder Mountain (in neighboring Wells)

- Sing show tunes around the piano until late into the night at The Front Porch (Kendrick’s been known to break out “Bohemian Rhapsody” when the mood hits him)

- Take a stroll on Marginal Way at sunset, ending up at Billy’s for lobster rolls, of course

- Snag a sexy sailor-mermaid Christmas tree ornament from one of the shops lining Shore Road

- Down summer ales and steamers while gazing out at the water from the porch of Splash, which overlooks the main beach area

- Stop into Swamp John’s for an apres-dinner, nautical-themed jewelry purchase

- Borrow a beach read or check out the art collection at the Ogunquit Memorial Library (this was my #1 hangout in town from ages 6-12)

- Stop into Perkins Cove Candies for some milk chocolate turtles and salt water taffy (you can also order online)

- Go deep-sea fishing (or, if you’re me, snag every single person on the boat’s line in yours and catch zip) aboard the Ugly Anne

- Stroll the grounds before dinner at Clay Hill Farm

- Pick out delicious bath products to bring a little bit of the seashore back home at H&M Crumpet

- Check out what’s playing at the Leavitt Fine Arts Theatre, where the chairs are vintage leather and a “large” popcorn is actually something you can eat in one sitting.

Butting in, but it's pretty fabulous! All of their jams, mixes, kitchen accessories, etc., plus a super beautiful garden and a really delicious cafe. It's a fun stop.

This sounds like such a great trip! I've been trying to get Eugene to agree to taking a little weekend trip and this one sounds perfect. Will have to see if I can nudge him to agree. :)

    (btw, I am a skee-ball FANATIC!)

As a summer Ogunquit-er (Ogunquin-ite?) myself, I can't believe you forgot to mention the joy of riding the trolleys! My favorite thing to do as a kid was to try to ride each of them (Molly, Wally, Holly, etc.). In fact, it's still fun.

Oh man, I need to book a trip ASAP.
