In celebration of their Coast-to-Coast project, Samsung would like to give a lucky Ramshackle Glam reader one of their new wifi-enabled social media cameras, the SH100.

SH100 Features:

- Immediately shares photos and videos across your social media networks

- 14.2Mp sensor, 3.0 inch LCD touchscreen, HD video recording capabilities

To see the Samsung SH100 in action, click here to check out photos of the day I spent taking the team to my favorite spots all over the city (and don’t forget to “like” them!).

To enter the contest, just comment below telling me your favorite summer hotspot (in NYC or elsewhere). Don’t worry if the comment doesn’t show up immediately – I’m in transit today (off to Maine!), but I’ll approve it the second I get to a computer!

Contest open to U.S. and Canada residents only. Contest closes Sunday, June 12, at 5PM EST.

In accordance to the FTC Guidelines and WOMMA Code of Ethics, I am disclosing that my time and efforts have been compensated by Samsung for my participation in the Coast to Coast Photo Post campaign, and I was also provided a Samsung SH100 camera. Although I have a material connection to Samsung, any publicly stated opinions of Samsung remain my own.

Lately my favorite summer hot spot has been the beach! The beach near my home has an awesome board walk and a great little cafe with tables outside. I order myself an ice coffee and people watch. Its a great way to spend a weekend.

i’m a new england girl, so there’s a lot to love in this region in the summer!  acadia national park is a perfect getaway, but owing to its inconvenient distance from boston, i’ll probably have to pick westport, MA.  it’s a great place to wind down at the family cottage, but there are also a few great ‘hotspots’ along the bay for a drink or two!

My favorite summer hotspot is anywhere I can eat or drink outdoors in Philly. I love beer gardens and people watching so it kills 2 birds with 1 stone –> I hate that phrase because I would never want to kill a bird.

As a Chicago girl, my favorite summer spot is hands down the lake front – whether its the huge, serene park near Belmont, or the buzz of North Avenue beach – by the water is the place to be!

It’s hard to pick just one!  I love being anywhere outside in the summer, especially at the beach.  In New York, the original Shake Shack in Madison Square Park is one of my favorite places on a summer afternoon.

My favorite summer hot spot would have to be Queens.  I love everything about being in the city-from the wonderful shopping to avoiding a sea of yellow cabs to cross the street.  It’s quite a maneuver to learn!  Everything is incredibly fast paced and it’s all about striding to get where you want.  I chose Queens because it’s where I was born and where I came back to.  There’s something sweet about it, being able to wake up to the sounds of kids playing or watching an elderly couple go on a stroll.  I think life can be hectic and it’s important to be able to slow things down to enjoy the little things in life.

A sucker for DIY, vintagey goods, and your beautiful photography, I would have to say that around Chicago there are great hidden spots no matter where you are! One of my favorite scenic and relaxing spots is at Oak St. Beach. The view of the Drake and downtown is incredible along with the little food spots! :)

My favorite all-time summer hotspot is the Muscongus Bay Lobster Company in Round Pound ME. This lobster shack is a 20 minute drive from the family summer home I visited in Pemaquid Pt. Wonderful family owned business that is BYOB & allows you to bring your own sides. Lots of family memories sitting on the picnic tables.

And in NYC nothing beats a picnic in Central Park with friends, good food, frisbees, and vats of firefly sweet tea vodka.
