With Love, From Me To You

[CONTEST CLOSED]

See that dress I’m wearing (from yesterday’s post with Katy)?

I bought you one. I stopped into H&M yesterday, and there were just three of them left on the rack, and I couldn’t help it: I picked up one for Katy (who had told me how much she liked it at the shoot) and one that I want to give away to one of you guys, because I think they’re going to be sold out immediately, and the dress is just too awesome.

The one I’m giving away is a size small (that’s all they had left; I’m sorry about that), and I think it’d be AMAZING for holiday parties with a little added sparkle.

(And just as a heads-up, I have five – FIVE! – more fantastic giveaways coming up in the next month or so: one beauty, one home, and three fashion. You are going to love them.)

To enter, comment below telling me where you want to wear the dress!

i'd wear this baby to thanksgiving dinner at my boyfriend's family's house – first time meeting the family, so i have to look greeeaat!

  • Rachael

I'd wear it to my boyfriend's company holiday party! I don't usually get dressed up that much, and this would be so easy to add accessories to and make my own!

  • Caroline

    I'd wear it EVERYWHERE!

  • Kirsten

I'd love to wear this to Thanksgiving dinner. I'm a new mom that is slowly losing the extra baby weight and this dress would be great motivation to work hard the next few weeks!

  • Hpyhart

I would give it to my 15-year-old daughter. She's just now “becoming a girl” as she calls it and this would be a perfect addition to her new “girly” wardrobe. We live in Vegas, so it would be perfect for her to wear to school with a blazer and tights. Not sure what to do about the shoes, since she's still getting used to heels, but I'm sure we could find something.
Really kind of you, by the way!

  • Erin

Yes, I would wear this dress to Holiday parties, but what's more exciting is where I'd wear it after the holidays! I'm studying abroad in Prague next semester and would love to wear this dress with wool tights, boots, a cashmere sweater and some big sparkly earrings in and out of cafe's, museums, galleries, you name it. The dress is screaming for special memories in it, and I cannot imagine anything more special than my junior year abroad. To be able to look back on photos and remember winning this dress in a contest and then gallivanting around the Czech Republic would be UNREAL and to wear the dress seasons to come (as most H&M clothes endure many a season in my wardrobe…) would be the happiest reminder of my time abroad.

Let's see. I'd probably rip off how you put it together and wear it to work! I take many of my summer/spring dresses and morph them into winter outfits. I love dresses and I love being inspired by other people's fashion choices – thanks for thinking of your readers with this great giveaway!

    on a first date :)

I'd wear it to christmas parties! I live in a state without an H&M (though one is coming soon), and it's one of the things I miss about NY.

To my first official company holiday party. Killer dress!

  • Rose Umbrella

My best friend's baby shower. She is going to be the best mommy! – We decided to decorate everything in pink/beige (her favorite color combination). I am so excited for her and can't wait to meet her baby boy!

we are hosting our very first thanksgiving dinner (myboyfriend and i) in our new house so i am looking for the perfect outfit! we have the menu planned and the house decorated to the nines so we are ready BUT i am thinking this dress some fun tights and a cardagan belted would be the icing on the cake! then i would wear it this summer too with casual sandles or maybe some wooden platforms – i got the cutest pair from aldo a few weeks ago (summer sale)

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

  • Amy

oooh so pretty. There's a lot of great places to wear that. Honestly, I think I could get away with pairing it with a blazer and pants for work and then swapping out the pants for some tights and going straight out to dinner with the BF. He's adore this dress.

    Thanks for the giveaway.

I'd wear this dress with some dark dark tights, my grey knee high boots and grey boyfriend blazer to work. I'd also love pairing it with fun colors for non-work activities, or maybe even with some skinnies. Such a great dress I can picture it a million ways, and as we don't have H&M up North and I'm awhile away from a trip to the city thanks a million for the chance to win it!

On our honeymoon! My husband and I got married on September 4th but because of school, work, and life in general, we postponed the trip. We are going to Costa Rica in December!

To the library with leggings! I'm a grad student and I think it'd look super cute with black leggings and ballet flats

  • holls1211

Holiday parties. All of them. And I'd mix it up with different colored tights/leggings and accessories. I have a pair of black Aldo platform suede maryjanes that I'm currently obsessed with and wearing with colored slip socks. I've gotten SO many compliments on the look and I'd probably try it with the dress too!

For my 30th birthday party! We have super young kids and don't get to go on many dates so this would wow our friends and my husband. I love that you paired pretty with punk; it's a great look I'd like to emulate!

  • Becky Elliott

To my upcoming one year anniversary dinner! (I think I could probably wear an old T-shirt and the boy would love it 'cause he's just a sweetie like that, but wouldn't it be nice to surprise him?)

  • Smilepretty_xd

I'd wear it on a Monday. No need to save it for a special occasion.. After all.. Every day is a treat.

  • Amanda M.

I desperately need some new clothes for the upcoming holiday season…but my husband and I also need a new couch. Unfortunately, it looks like the couch has won the battle, since our dog, Bella, refuses to get up on our old, beaten up couch any longer. So…I'd love a new, beautiful dress like this one, to offset the pain of having to fork over a couple thousand dollars, in lieu of my new winter wardrobe THANKS, Jordan!!

  • Manda

I would wear it with tights and suede booties to dinner with the ladies! I'm currently on the job hunt, so a beautiful dress without shopping would be a miracle!

  • jen

    tea party!

  • Mrosete

I wouldn't wear it anywhere seeing as I'm a man, but my wife would totally love it and wear it to various holiday parties and night casual nights out with friends. It's totally her style.

This might be lame, but I really want to wear that dress to my kids' school auction. I want to be the hot mom, I'll admit it!
