A Stroll Down Memory Lane

Short story: When I was about 15, I auditioned for the role of Juliet in the little-seen movie pictured at left (spoiler: I didn’t get the part). But no one mentioned that it was, you know, a modernized adaptation, so little old me wandered into the audition room and started spouting a (very, very bad) British accent.

Oops.

Because, you know, I totally would have booked it otherwise.

Omgosh I LOVED this movie!! Though I don't like Claire Danes nowadays, I think Leo was cutest in his Quick and the Dead and Romeo and Juliet days…adored him then!

Have quite a few of those myself, lol. It is one of my long-term goals to put together a book of hilarious and awful audition stories.
