Fall Baby Duds / Joe Fresh

Q. I have ON.com open in my other window and I’m perusing baby snow duds.  Any leads?

A. I love Joe Fresh for adorable, affordable baby clothing – they sell it at the superstore in Canada, where I’m headed for Canadian Thanksgiving in a couple of weeks, so I’ll be stocking up. I didn’t think they sold it stateside…but I just spotted a Joe Fresh on Fifth Avenue yesterday, and it turns out they opened up a whole bunch of stores in the city (and elsewhere in the U.S.). Click here for a location near you.

Their stuff doesn’t look terribly snow-specific at the moment (more autumn-y), but I did spot snow boots and some great down jackets at Old Navy this weekend, and TJ Maxx usually has a pretty great selection of kids’ winter pieces.

Every year since my daughter was born I’ve gotten her snow gear at Old Navy. It stands up all winter and generally isn’t too expensive. They also have a GREAT pair of jeans that are fleece lined for frigid days that you aren’t donning a snowsuit. In addition to that, they have the best long sleeved shirts I’ve found (not too short and not too thin). I’m normally not a HUGE fan of ON for womens and mens stuff but, I am a huge fan of their kids stuff … as you might be able to tell haha.
