My Chandelier Obsession Has Found A New Focal Point

Last weekend Mom and I stopped into Home Depot so I could pick up a shelf for the kitchen and scout paints (all part of the Baby-Is-Semi-Imminent Apartment Renovation Project)…and even though we’re obviously trying to save these days, I pretty much had to hand my wallet over to Mom to stop myself from buying this:

At Home Depot! Can you believe it? Apparently Roxy Lighting is the way to go.

For that day in the future when I decide that it’s not totally irresponsible to buy one of these…

Which do you like better? Crystal or white?

    so pretty! i’ve ALWAYS wanted a chandelier, but thought that it would be impossible to find one even remotely affordable that didn’t look junky. love these.

    aw baby renovation : ) hm, maybe you can make 2 baby registries– one from buy buy baby; one from home depot ! (they have baby gates and monitors and such!)

    you know, we talked about a monitor…and decided that there isn’t anywhere in the apartment that we’d have much of a problem monitoring the baby from without one ;)

    home depot isn’t a bad idea for a baby registry for people with big places, though – if you have lots of rooms you have lots of spots that need ‘proofing (we’re not doing much of that b/c – fingers crossed – we’ll be moving before independent motion starts happening in earnest).

    We actually bought the crystal globe when we moved into our new apartment two years ago – it’s fabulous! You need to have it, believe me.

    I love the white! I would totally put it in my bathroom with a claw tub. If I had a claw tub. Or a house. Ha.
