One of the stops we hit on yesterday’s shoot in Chinatown, Jade Garden Arts & Crafts, is an absolute must if you’re in the market for things like affordable pottery, teapots and tea accessories, planters, and vases.

I picked up a whole bunch of these teacups ($2 each) to use as likely-to-remain-in-one-piece (no stems) wineglasses.
Tons of planters at very reasonable prices (plus there are lots of markdowns, and the store owner is open to negotiation).
I think this is a…very large ashtray? I’m not sure. And it’s more expensive than most of the stuff there ($59, yikes). But I like it for keeping next to your bed to gather all those little things you scatter around (jewelry, coins, whatever) into one very lovely spot.
